Vietnam will buy at least two early-warning aircraft C-295 AEW&C to enhance the ability to control the South China Sea airspace.

World media simultaneously reported that Vietnam will buy at least 2 aircraft early warning and control air C-295 AEW&C to enhance the ability to control airspace East Sea and provide information reconnaissance, early warning control service of the sky, ready to fight.

This is not without basis when multiple signals recently that Vietnam will likely favor buying the aircraft.

Kami telah mengajukan proposal kami. Pesaing kami membuat proposal mereka, ” katanya kepada kantor Bernama baru-baru ini di ajang Defence Sevices Asia 2016 (DSA 2016). Dia mengatakan RMAF telah menguji pesawat yang ditawarkan tersebut.

Reuters: Vietnam in Talk to Purchase about 12 Gripen or the Rafale Fighter

According to Reuters, Vietnam has already carried out preliminary negotiations with the Swedish group Saab and Dassault of France to purchase at least 12 fighters.

MANILA (PNA) --- In line with efforts to ensure that all of its available air assets are mission-worthy at all times, the Philippine Air Force (PAF) announced that it is allocating the sum of PHP18,103,676.69 for the acquisition of spare parts needed for the maintenance of the engine, electrical, instrument systems of one of its Rockwell OV-10 "Bronco" attack aircraft.

Submission and opening of bids is on March 8, 9:00 a.m. at the PAF Procurement Center Conference Room, Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.

Prospective bidders should have an experience in similar project within the last five years.

The OV-10s are the PAF's premier ground attack aircraft. Around six to eight units are still in service as of this posting.

Malaysia Bantah akan Beli JF-17

Kementerian Pertahanan Malaysia membantah kabar pihaknya akan membeli jet tempur JF-17 Thunder dari Pakistan seperti yang dilaporkan sebelumnya.
“Saya tidak pernah mendengarnya sebelum ini [rencana pembelian jet JF-17]. Ini pertama kali saya mendengarnya. Kami tidak mempunyai rencana membelinya,” kata Menteri Pertahanan Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein sebagaimana dikutip Kantor Berita Bernama, Selasa 22 Desember 2015.
Sebelumnya utusan tinggi Malaysia untuk Pakistan Datuk Dr Hasrul Sani Mujtabar sebagiamana dikutip media di negara tersebut mengatakan Malaysia berniat membeli jet tempur yang dibangun Pakistan dan China tersebut.

Academy of Science and Technology of Vietnam in conjunction with the Ministry of Public Security has successfully developed unmanned aircraft HS-6L which could fly 4.000km .

According to information from the Academy of Science and Technology, unmanned aerial vehicle HS-6L is a collaborative project with the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, complete prototype fabrication to date 01/11/2015.

Upgrade F-16 Singapura Habiskan Rp12,4 Triliun

Lockheed Martin mendapatkan kontrak senilai US$914 juta atau sekitar Rp12,43 triliun (dengan kurs Rp13.600) untuk meng-upgrade F-16 jet Singapura.  Upgrade akan dilakukan di di Fort Worth, dan diharapkan selesai pada 30 Juni 2023, Departemen Pertahanan AS mengatakan pernyataanya Rabu 2 Desember 2015 Lockheed merupakan pihak yang dianugerahi kontrak secara tunggal, namun detail tentang apa saja yang akan diupgrade tidak diungkapkan.

FA-50 dan Reformasi Kekuatan Udara Filiphina

Angkatan Udara Filiphina memasuki fase baru. Setelah satu dekade tidak memiliki jet tempur, mereka akhirnya mulai menerima pesawat buatan Korea untuk diandalkan sebagai kekuatan udara mereka.

Filipina membeli 12 FA-50 produksi Korea Aerospace Industries dengan nilai sekitar US$402 juta.  Dua pesawat telah diterima dan 10 jet lainnya akan disampaikan hingga 2017. Senjata untuk pesawat akan dibeli kemudian hari.
Selama 10 tahun terakhir Filiphina tidak memiliki pesawat tempur setelah mereka mempensiun pesawat tempur supersonik F-5 terakhir pada tahun 2005. Menurut Reuters kurangnya dana telah menunda program pembelian cukup lama.

Golden Eagle Filiphina Mulai Datang, Senjata 3 Tahun Lagi

Angkatan Udara Filipina (PAF) akan menempatkan 12 FA-50 “Golden Eagle” baru mereka tiga pangkalan udara. Batch pertama yang terdiri dari dua pesawat tiba di pangkalan Clark Airbase, rumah Divisi Air PAF 1 di Clark Field, Pampanga Jumat 27 November 2015.
Dengan menempati pangkalan ini pesawat akan bertugasuntuk patroli wilayah udara negara itu, terutama di Barat Laut Filipina di mana China telah secara agresif mengganggu mereka dengan klaim “9-Dash line” di Laut China Selatan.
